Chag Shavuot Sameach ROIC Mishpocheh! (Happy Festival of Shavuot Rock of Israel Congregation Family)

As we approach the Festival of Shavuot in celebrating the Giving of Torah on Mt. Sinai and, the Pouring Out of the Ruach HaKodesh (Holy Spirit) on the 120 in the upper room; continuing to fill those who are thirsty still today, I hope this finds you closing the 49 days of Counting the Omer?

It is the time of introspection, of searching your heart; re-aligning your life, and bringing it into alignment with the Word of Adonai?

These 7 weeks we have been searching our heart to see if we Love Him, our family, our friends and brothers and sisters in Yeshua (Jesus) the way He demonstrated. We search to see if we are finding our strength in His Word, instead of our own strength? To see if we are allowing His love to be the foundation? It is a time to have the courage to ask Him to search our hearts and give us the courage to face the Truth of who we really are!

When we do this knowing that love covers a multitude of sins, it will give us the strength to make the changes needed to become “like Him”! Tearing down the barriers in our life, and then allowing the Ruach HaKodesh to re-build our house on the foundation of Love. When we do it this way, we can ask the Messiah for a strength exchange for our weakness. This will bring us into harmony and balance, allowing us to walk and live the life He intends us to live. It is only once we build upon this Love, Strength and balance, that we will be able to Endure and find Victory through the every day struggles we all face.

From years of ministry experience, I have learned to never completely trust a person who tells me they are followers of Messiah, that do not have battle scars. It is not a matter of liking them, but it is a matter of trust. It is just not possible to serve Him with your life, and not have come through a few battles! I love the following verses because they are what those of us have learned, having come through “battles” with the scars to prove it, know all Glory and Honor are due to the One who delivered us.

[Isa 57:15 KJV] 15 For thus saith the high and lofty One that inhabiteth eternity, whose name [is] Holy; I dwell in theshavuot high and holy [place], with him also [that is] of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones.
[Isa 66:2 KJV] 2 For all those [things] hath mine hand made, and all those [things] have been, saith the L-RD: but to this [man] will I look, [even] to [him that is] poor and of a contrite spirit, and trembleth at my word.

It is not that WE came through the battles because we are super spiritual, but it is because HE brought us through when we felt as if we could not go on. It is because we called out to the ONE who delivered us, forgave us and brought us past ourselves. In doing so, we learned that we are nothing and He is EVERYTHING! He revived our heart. He brought us through the hellish attacks of the enemy, and even worse, the things WE willingly did that caused us to cry out for the Mercy we did not deserve. Those of us who have figured out that His Love delivered us when nothing else could, know exactly what I mean.

This is what I mean by re-alignment. It puts the viewpoint back where it belongs, the love replaces pride, His deliverance replaces our arrogance along with our false sense of strength. That realization and remembrance of who Saved us, strips away the bravado to remind us of our weakness. That type of focus brings balance back, and gives us the extra push to endure another day, week, month or year. It reminds us that we belong to Him. It reminds us we are “bond servants” of the Most High. From this viewpoint, at the feet of the Messiah, we “Look up,” for our redemption in the splendor of Yeshua who suffered and died for our sins.

We must focus on that splendor! His splendor! This reminds us that any and all crowns we may have earned, are to be laid at the feet of Yeshua HaMashiach Ben Elohim! (Jesus The Messiah, The Son of G-D) It is then we see the reality that only He is Worthy! It is only Yeshua who is deserving of all Glory and Praise!

When we look upon Messiah who suffered and died for our sins, it causes us to remember that we were once strangers wandering through the desert, leaving Egypt to finally gather at the foot of the Mountain of G-D. It is for some our physical roots, but even more important for those of us who call Yeshua Messiah, our spiritual Roots! We are daughters and sons of the G-D of Creation!

When the father looks at your heart, It matters not, what tribe or tongue your were born into physically, but the one we are Born Again into Spriitually! Baruch Hashem Yeshua! (Praise the Name of Jesus) We are the One New Man Through Him! Every Tribe, Every Nation, Every Tongue, gathered around the Throne, joining with the Elders and angels crying Kadosh, Kadosh, Kadosh, Adonai Tseva’ot ! (Holy, Holy, Holy, is the L-RD of Hosts). A sea of worshipers, bowing down to Yeshua’s Kingship over all creation!

Yes, it is true, everyone who calls Yeshua Savior becomes nobility, Kings and Priests as daughters and sons of G-D…………but as He who set aside His glory, taking on the flesh of humanity, being tempted in all things, willingly laying down his life, taking our sins upon his shoulders, becoming sin, so that we might know eternity with Him and the Father; became the suffering servant!

Without Yeshua’s sacrifice we would never know G-D’s presence, never escape Death, Hell and the Grave……….We should be like him, remembering that though we are kings and priests, we deserve NONE of it!

This is why Yeshua told his Talmidim (disciples) to tarry and wait for the “Comforter” to come. Though they had been with him physically, seeing His miracles, watching His selflessness, observing His demonstration of Love that the world can never emulate, He told them to wait, knowing they would be counting the Omer. Yeshua was fully aware they would remember His Love, and see the lack of theirs. They would remember the strength it took to be ridiculed, beat and executed for no sin; then carry all our sin, and in it, see the lie of how strong they thought they were! They would remember how they crumbled under the slightest pressure of association with Yeshua, denying Him, deserting Him to be crucified between two thieves. Yeshua knew they needed to count the Omer, to remember the characteristics Adonai had created in them, as they found themselves separated from HIM.

I can hear the disciples now can you? I will die for you Yeshua! I will stand with you Messiah! NO, you should not die on the execution stake! Messiah, which of us will sit on at throne at your right hand or left hand? I will never deny you! arrogance

Are we that much different? Messiah taught them and us, you cannot put new wine into old wine skins. That is the point of counting the Omer! That is the point of the Ruach HaKodesh (Holy Spirit) coming to Fill us to Overflowing! To give us what we need; to equip us to fight the good fight until He comes to take us home! To bring us into Echad (Oneness) with Yeshua and the Father!

He sends the Ruach HaKodesh (Holy Spirit) to equip us with Gifts, balanced by a healthy meal of the Fruit of the Spirit, that will in turn, grow in us, and through us, to manifest in our lives the fruit of righteousness…….until He comes, or we go home!

Is this feast and option? Messiah commanded his Talmidim to observe it. He sent the Ruach HaKodesh on the day of it. He added back the 3000 Jewish people lost at Mt. Sinai on the day of it. He filled the 120 in the upper room who had been counting the Omer on the day of it. He Renewed the Covenant, writing it oPentecostImage-White-Versen our Hearts instead of stone on the day of it. He commanded us to keep the feasts FOREVER in Leviticus 23! I believe the reason HE COMMANDS us to keep it, is because we NEED Spiritual Renewal EVERY YEAR of our lives! We need to meet with Him together, to make HIM the Center of all we are! The Hub, not a spoke in the wheel of our life.

I hope you will take the next few days to cry out to G-D to fill you; let His Fire ignite you; burn away the dross, and let His Wind blow away the cobwebs in your heart. May He give you the gift(s) you need, our congregation needs and, feed you the Fruit that will properly fuel its use for His Glory! Come Seeking and Expecting to Experience the Presence of G-D!

By the way, just in case you have not noticed, I gave you a prayer guideline in what I wrote above, for each characteristic of each week of Counting the Omer.
